Sunshine Association is a nonprofit organization committed to serving low-income families, immigrants, seniors, and underserved communities. Founded with the belief that justice, dignity, and opportunity should belong to everyone, we work to ensure that individuals and families have access to the legal, tax, and educational resources they need to thrive.

Our Mission

At Sunshine Association, our mission is to deliver accessible, affordable, and comprehensive tax accounting, and legal services to low-income individuals, seniors, and non-English-speaking communities. We are dedicated to empowering  underserved populations by providing expert guidance through programs such as IRS VITA, Legal Services Corporation (LSC), and other financial assistance initiatives. Whether through complimentary, reduced-cost, or standard services, our goal is to ensure that all individuals have the necessary resources to navigate complex financial and legal systems with confidence, security, and dignity.

What We Do

Through our initiatives, Sunshine Association provides a wide range of services:

• Immigration Legal Services – visa applications, green card petitions, citizenship, asylum, family reunification, and deportation defense.

• Tax and Financial Assistance – IRS VITA free tax programs, personal and small business tax filing, and financial consulting.

• Legal Document Preparation – powers of attorney, living wills, trusts, and other essential documents.

• Community Education & Support – translation services, document filing assistance, workshops, and outreach.

Each service is designed to be practical, affordable, and culturally accessible, ensuring that no one is left behind.
